WHO KNEW
…that Dungeons & Dragons would be entertaining? I didn’t, but it was a lot of fun.
TRIPOD
I got this today. My first tripod, finally. (It’s about time.)
The center column can be turned horizontally, allowing for the camera to be supported at a minimum height of about 3.5 inches. It can also be used for other purposes, but none that are as cool.
CLOTHING
Apparently, Jim Thompson is a fan of pleated pants (from The Sartorialist).
I just have to make it known that I have a severe dislike of pleated pants. While I am fond of classic looks, I think we should think about what actually looks good, and what doesn’t. Pleats only look good on obese southern lawyers in movies like Fried Green Tomatoes.

THIS SUMMER
I need to learn javascript and actionscript. I need to take pictures of people not named Emily. I need to read at least three novels. I need to go camping, and I need to play some kind of sport.
It’s hot enough and it’s humid enough, so I say summer is here.

You enjoy watching the visual representation of your computer’s hard drive being defragmented. It’s just so cool how the one green mass is forming, but it sucks that it takes so long.

I don’t have a melody or anything to start with, but since when has that ever been an issue? Maybe I’ll start working on this over the weekend. Does anybody want to help?

Sometimes, I just want to talk and talk and talk. Why? Because some people are so interesting. Have you ever been talking to someone and in the middle of the conversation you realized that there should be a camera filming everything? Charlie Rose has such a great job.
Aikido
I would love to take up aikido. Not only would the physical activity be good for me, as I usually sit in front of a computer all day, but I’ve always found the philosophy behind aikido to be quite interesting. It’s all about defense, and not about attack. I’m not sure how I found out about it, but a few years ago I read The Way of Aikido and I’ve been interested since.

WISDOM
About the only wise thing I did today was call the dentist to confirm that I need to get my wisdom teeth removed. My upper-right wisdom tooth is in and has been irritating my cheek in a way that makes it impossible for me to chew or drink without feeling pain.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
I started cleaning my room today, and while I did organize a lot of stuff, it looks absolutely the same. It’s going to take me a long, long time.
I watched about ten minutes of 24 on Hulu today. I couldn’t stand how terrible the acting was. Hasn’t anyone ever noticed that? The acting is truly awful.

Throughout the week, I’ve been told by multiple people on several occasions that I’m weird. I mean, at least I know it.
It’s been the weekend in my head for about two days now, but Friday is finally here, and I’m so relieved. I have no plans for the weekend, but it’s still a relief.
