MIDNIGHT COWBOY
10:00PM - I remember that I forgot to buy miniDV tapes. Best Buy and Target just closed.
11:30PM - I leave to get the tapes from Wal-Mart.
11:50PM - The closest Wal-Mart ran out of tapes, I leave for the further Wal-Mart, stopping to see if there’s a nearby Walgreens that’s open.
1:15AM - I finally get home with the miniDV tapes in hand.
2:00AM - I’m going to bed.

IF ONLY
On the Pixsylated website, there is a tip to take photographs even when you don’t have a camera. I did that today, and I ended up wishing that I had my camera. I’ve learned my lesson.
A photograph I took when there was a blackout on campus. For whatever reason, I was carrying my camera that day.

School is, for all practical purposes, over. I still have one class this week, and I have finals next week, but I’m done mentally.

DEPRESSING

The video on this site is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Not only does it make me think of the stereotype of black people loving fried chicken, but it reinforces the stereotype that white people can’t dance. My sympathy goes out to the actors who are in the video.

INFLUENCES
Interviewing people for the Mayor’s Arts Awards video, I am consistently surprised that when I ask the winners about the people and the specific moments that changed their lives in the arts, they reply immediately. They don’t even think about their response; they just know.
It’s probably my age and inexperience that makes me unable to do the same.

LIGHTNING STRIKES
I love seeing flashes of lightning hiding behind clouds in the distances, not hearing the thunder. They’re such teases.

I finally got my domain name to link to something. This site helped me understand the whole A records and Cnames thing. Now I need to figure out how to design well, and then redesign this blog.
